Can anyone help me with deciphering the domestic partner laws in California? I've been living with my partner for 9 years, and though we're not married, we share all household expenses, et c. I'm concerned about including my partner in my will. How can I be sure to provide for him?

I've actually had a similar question. I think you should go and talk with a lawyer about writing up a legally binding document in which your partner is provided for. Are you worried about your other family members contesting things?
